The APNIFFT continental meeting will be held ahead of the G20 Summit, providing a vital platform for African legislators to consolidate and express the continent’s priorities. This gathering is expected to generate strong parliamentary input into the G20 discussions, ensuring that African voices—particularly those of lawmakers responsible for domestic legislation, oversight, and budget accountability—are reflected in shaping global tax and financial policies. The APNIFFT meeting will thus serve as a crucial mobilisation space to influence the G20 agenda and strengthen Africa’s leadership in promoting fiscal justice and financial transparency on the global stage.
